Thanks to new government building regulations there are minimum standards of energy efficiency that windows, door and conservatories fitted in the UK must meet. The new building regulations known as “Document L” (J in Scotland) set energy efficiency targets to reduce heat loss from frames and glass to help Great Britain meet the commitments as set out in the Kyoto Agreement relating to energy consumption and green house gases.
To ensure that you fit replacement windows that meet these new standards, the glass and Glazing Federation teamed with other industry bodies to produce FENSA – the Fenestration Self-Assesment Scheme. By choosing us to complete your work we will provide you with a certificate comfirming that your new installation complies with these new regulations.
